Our Philosophy:
Both Doug and Shaun believe in delivering products
that meet and exceed the best in the business, and our mission is that with quality products and honest & forthright
business practices we will strive to satisfy our customers to the best of our ability. The following statements describe
our outlook on our business and the policies we've embraced.
- We do not negotiate pricing.
People ask us all the time, 'well, what's your best price on this' or 'what kind of deal can we make for that'. When
we explain that we do not negotiate pricing, some people are upset, or cannot understand. We apologize for this, but
if you read on and see where we're coming from, we believe you will understand, and come to feel like hundreds of our customers
now do, that it is a better and more comfortable way to do things. We feel the whole negotiation process that is the standard today in vehicle buying is seriously
flawed, because it eliminates a very important part of a good business relationship: TRUST. Unfortunately, buying a
vehicle has become a game of poker between the customer and the dealership. The buyer wants to get the most vehicle for
the least price. The dealer wants the customer to do whatever earns them the most profit. Both sides lie
and bluff, neither side wants the other to see their hand, or what they have up their sleeve. Salespeople can be
pushy, or the environment can be high pressure. Manipulations are made with selling price, trade-in values, financing
terms, rebates & incentives, extras & accessories, dealer fees, freight, prep, setup......the list goes on.
There is little to no trust or honesty in dealings like this, as both sides look to always take advantage of the other.
It really is cutthroat! If we wanted to play the games, we could.......but we don't enjoy that experience when
we are a customer, so we sure don't want it that way for our customers, nor for us at the dealers end. We eliminate
all of this, just by being straight-forward, fair and honest with our pricing, in all areas, from start to finish....and
then being firm on it. This removes all of that tension and breaks the ice, allowing us to build a relationship of honesty
and trust, which should be important when making a purchase of this magnitude. This allows us to serve you better by
assisting you in choosing the trike or conversion of your choice, with no ulterior motives on our end, so it really will be
what you want. There are no salespeople here, we're all owners, charged with helping our customers. We structure
our pricing so that we can be priced as competitively as possible with other trike dealers, while still following the manufacturers
guidelines and doing superior work to most, and getting enough in return to cover our overhead costs and keep our business
going, and growing. We work very hard to offer our customers the best bikes and trike conversions available. We
take a lot of time and care in selecting the bikes we purchase for conversion, and put great time and effort into making
our conversions even better quality than the factory. We stand behind our work, and believe that we set fair prices
on the trikes we sell and the conversions we do. Building our reputation and earning the respect of others
in the industry is important to us. We hope to be around a long time to serve you.
- We do things by the book.
Like almost any business, there are licenses, certifications, permits, etc. that are legally required to do what we do.
There are procedures and rules set out by the local, state, and federal governments that are meant to be followed in order
to protect the public. We believe that to have a lasting and successful business, you have to abide by the system, not
only for us, but for our customers. There are other businesses out there that do not believe in the system, and will
circumvent it when possible, either for their benefit, or the apparent benefit to their customer. We're sorry, but we
will not put ourselves or our customers at risk by doing these things, it is just not worth it. So, with that said,
we are fully licensed and bonded as a Florida motor vehicle dealer. We carry more than the statutory limits in insurance
coverage. We are trained and authorized dealers for the conversion manufacturers we build. We follow the procedures
set forth by the motor vehicle authorities. And yes, we have to say it, we collect proper taxes as well. Avoiding
or deceiving the tax collectors is a quick way to lose a business and go to prison, and I don't think they'll let us
build trikes in there. This is not a get rich quick business for us, it's a labor of life & love. We started
this business from nothing, have grown it into something, and endeavor to be a premier trike dealer for a long time to
come, and doing things right is a big part of that.
